The Y Gardens is a three-story walk-up style mixed use apartment building that provides each apartment with an exterior entrance. The project provides a variety of one and two-bedroom designs with a total of forty-one units. Ten of the units are reserved for individual who have aged out of foster care.

The project includes a common community space for the residents that is connected to an additional outdoor gathering area by overhead doors. A portion of the first floor is designed for commercial or retail uses.

The contemporary design of the building exterior and its mixed-use function have made it a great addition to an existing infill site in the heart of Springfield.
